In addition to the tournaments and games at the casinos, poker has made its way to television. It is difficult to turn on the television today without seeing a poker tournament. Even celebrities have jumped on the wagon, so to speak, and in their shady dealings they too have started to play the game. You can see them in the poker halls, the backdoor establishments and in the red light districts all furiously playing poker in order to supplement their meager earnings.

This is not to say that poker is a shady game. It is not, at least not today. But there a reason that all the mobsters like to play it. It is a game that combines both skill and chance, and hence it is a game in which the player feels that he has a certain amount of control over the game. While this is not always the case, still poker is indeed a battle of wits on which you must stay alert and ready to gauge you opponents reactions in order to destroy him utterly and succumb to the Dark Side!
